SHALOM! A little bit of info about me:

I received Smicha/Ordination from the Academy for Jewish Religion, California in May 2018 and am currently studying for Rabbinic Ordination (anticipated receipt May 2020). I hold a BA in English and Theater from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT as well as Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from CSU Northridge. I had the good fortune to live in Israel for six years, studying at Hebrew University in Jerusalem and participating in the music business, performing and writing song lyrics for some of Israel’s most popular singers.

I have worked at a number of synagogues in the San Diego, Los Angeles and Palm Springs areas and have served as High Holy Days cantor at congregations in Saratoga, CA; Houston, Texas and Providence, Rhode Island. I have produced and performed in Jewish music concerts at many venues in San Diego.

In 2018 I founded the San Diego Jewish Community Choir, which is still accepting new members! See for details.

In 2016, I raised $10,000 through crowdfunding to professionally record, self-produce, and distribute the CD “HINENI: Music for the High Holy Days.”  Over 1,000 copies have been provided free of charge to homebound seniors in hospitals, hospices, and retirement homes across the U.S. via chaplains, clergy, Jewish Family Services and Jewish Federations.  Please visit to purchase this special album.

I am available for all life cycle events including weddings, funerals, etc. Please contact me for more information at or call (858) 280-6331.
