WE ARE BLESSED TO HAVE WONDERFUL MUSICIANS LENDING THEIR TALENTS TO OUR MUSICAL SERVICES
DIANE BENAROYA (keyboard) hails from Buffalo, New York. Traipsing around the world (much of the time with 4 children), she has had a varied career ranging from Middle School music teacher in Niagara Falls, NY to Administrative Assistant at a top Israeli law firm. She received her BA in music from SUNY Buffalo, and her MA in Counseling from Canisius College. Diane loves playing all genres of Jewish music and was inspired to follow this path from a young age. She is also the Co-Publisher of L’CHAIM San Diego Magazine. http://www.lchaimmagazine.com/

ROCKY SMOLIN, is an upright bass player. That is, the bass is upright; the player…not so much. The deep bass broadens the sound of our group and helps drive the music along. Rocky started as a guitar player in high school, then about 20 years ago switched to bass and has played in Rock, Dixieland, Afro-Cuban, Klezmer, Blues, and Jazz Standards bands.

DAN WEISS, has been playing his unique Harptone acoustic guitar since the 1970s, when he was a co-songleader for services and religious school at Congregation Sinai in Milwaukee. Dan has been accompanying his Cantor-wife Cheri during musical services at several SoCal synagogues in recent years. Dan also loves singing in both the San Diego Jewish Community Choir (founded and led by Cantor Weiss) and the San Diego Jewish Men's Choir.
